GENERAL
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. We also support secure checkout via Shop Pay for a faster experience.
Do you offer buy now, pay later options?
No, we don’t currently offer “buy now, pay later” options. As a slow fashion brand, we encourage mindful purchasing and conscious consumer habits—values that sometimes don’t align with impulse-driven purchasing models. We believe in buying less, choosing well, and making it last.
That said, we understand the role flexible payments play for many people, and we’re always open to evolving responsibly with new tools that support our community without compromising our ethics. If this is something you’d find helpful in the future, we’d love your feedback!
Is it safe to make a purchase on your site?
Yes! Our website is secured with SSL encryption and uses trusted, PCI-compliant payment processors to protect your information. Your privacy and data security are very important to us.
Can I find you in-store or only online?
At this stage, The Nomads Garage is only online—but we’re actively exploring partnerships with select stores to carry TNG artwork in the near future. While we can’t share details just yet, you can follow us on Instagram for the latest updates on stockists, pop-ups/markets, and in-person events as they unfold.
How often do you release a new collection?
The Nomads Garage offers carefully curated collections each change in season to reflect the energy and style of that time of year. Each collection is an invitation to follow our natural rhythms and change with the seasons. For sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes looks, and early release dates, be sure to follow us on Instagram—our community always gets the first glimpse.

Where do you ship to?
We currently ship within Australia and New Zealand only. As a small, intentional brand, we’re focusing on local delivery to reduce our carbon footprint and maintain reliable service. We apologise for the inconvenience while we navigate the necessary steps to distribute products internationally, both sustainably and efficiently. Feel free to reach out if you have any suggestions or concerns.
Who do you ship with?
All orders are shipped via Australia Post. We trust them to deliver safely, sustainably, and efficiently across AUS and NZ.

How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are usually packed and sent within 5–7 business days. Delivery times vary depending on your location—Australia Post estimates 2–7 business days for most areas in AUS and a little longer for NZ.

Do you offer tracking?

How is your packaging eco-friendly?
We ship using recycled, recyclable, and plastic-free packaging to reduce environmental impact while still delivering a beautiful unboxing experience.

What makes your brand sustainable?
TNG curates vintage clothing and creates original art using eco-friendly, low-impact materials. The Nomads mission is to reduce waste and promote conscious, intentional living.
Why should I shop vintage when I can buy new?
Shopping vintage helps reduce textile waste, supports ethical fashion practices, and gives new life to garments that might otherwise end up in landfills. It’s a stylish, sustainable choice that tells a story—and helps the planet. At our core, we believe in honouring authenticity—each piece carries its own history and invites you to express your individuality through timeless, creative style. No mass production, no trends to follow, and no risk of looking like everyone else. It’s not just fashion; it’s a conscious, artful way to express yourself.
How do you source vintage pieces?
Each piece of clothing has been handpicked with love over time, along the coastlines of Australia and thrifting abroad. Memories are made in these items road tripping, chasing surf and waterfalls, and connecting with others and the land I am fortunate enough to call home. Whilst slow fashion is at the brands forefront, The Nomads Garage embodies the act of accepting impermanence in the tangible world to enhance holistic well-being in the face of the inevitable cycles of change. So as my way of honouring the past, I offer well-worn clothing, acknowledging that they have been worn well in some lifetime, in hopes that you might do the same.
REFUNDS
Do you offer returns or exchanges?
Because of the one-of-a-kind nature of our items, we generally don’t offer returns. However, if there’s an issue with your order, please contact us within 7 days—we want you to be happy and will do our best to make it right.
CLOTHING
How do you clean or restore vintage pieces?
Each garment is gently cleaned using eco-friendly, non-toxic detergents. When necessary, items are restored to preserve their character while extending their life. Some vintage pieces may show minor signs of age such as fading, small repairs, or gentle wear—this is part of their story and charm. Any significant imperfections will be noted in the product description and clear photos so you know exactly what you're getting.
How do I know if an item will fit me?
Vintage sizing can differ from modern sizing, so fit suggestions are provided in the description along with the general sizing of the models pictured in the item. However, we don’t list model measurements, as we believe bodies are constantly changing and deserve to be honoured without comparison—your best fit is the one that feels right for you.
ART
Do you do custom art or commissions?
Yes! I love collaborating with people to create personalised pieces while keeping sustainability in mind. Reach out through the contact form with your idea, and I would be so excited to have an opportunity to work together to bring it to life in an eco-conscious way.
What kind of eco-friendly materials do you use in your art?
All cards are sourced through SUPR PACK using Eco-friendly, water-resistant and recycled paper. SUPR Promises FSC Certified/Acid-Free & Naturally Compostable paper and Soy-based printing ink.
All Posters are sourced through Poster Factory using cotton rag paper with Epson Printers, a company whose environmental policies also run deep within The Nomads Garage. Although it isn’t currently possible to create high-quality art prints on recycled paper, cotton rag paper is a more environmentally sound choice. It’s worth remembering that these prints are made to last many moons so please cherish them and handle with care.
